Do you feel overwhelmed with anxiety? Are you feeling stuck? Are you successful, but still not happy?
we know that life is full of challenges
It’s common to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or sad. Perhaps life is no longer enjoyable. Or maybe you’re engaging in unhealthy behaviors. Sometimes the cause of that struggle is readily identifiable, such as after a painful loss. Other times, we have the sense that we should be happier, and yet, we are not.

In addition to reducing symptoms, clients learn to manage life’s struggles, increase resilience, and re-engage in life. We help people get back in touch with living the life they want and were meant to have.
Keep in mind we provide our clients the utmost discretion. But some clients wanted to share their experiences, in hopes it would help others (or something like that?)
experts in therapy, lending science with compassion
Dr. Hamann received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Iowa with an emphasis in evidence-based therapy and substance use disorders.
Dr. Hamann provides specialty care to adults with anxiety, depression, mild substance uses disorders, and grief. She also offers therapy to help individuals navigate life transitions, such as changes in relationship status, work satisfaction, health, or age milestones. Mostly, she has a strong desire to help clients to live meaningful lives. Rather than spending years in therapy focusing on deficits, she believes that change can best be achieved by helping people focus on strengths and learn skills to manage life’s challenges, all while continuing to move forward.
